thanks man...I just try and help.

Ya do some research on the e-manage...it may actually work nicely. I just got a great deal on my "used" EMS that I didn't want to pass it up. Let us know what you find out.
silver what are you going to do about emissions? I don't think the EMS will work because no OBDII right?

uhh...uhh...swap the stock ECU back in I guess.

I have to swap the cat back in anyway...so ya, probably just put the cat and the stock ECU back in...should be fine. I keep my stuff for just that reason

a guy in my local club just passed emissions for the 2nd year in a row with a test pipe. Thought that was funny that they didn't even check

I'd love to try that, but in Ca its definitly not worth the risk of them simply looking under. They are getting strict out here.

Emanage does plug into your ECU, a piggyback like VAFC.
With no boost or timing to adjust, a VAFC2 is probably just as good an investment for you. Unless you have intentions of going SC down the road, you wont utilize the features of the Emanage, hence why I sold mine and bought the VAFC2 (downgraded, weird)... Well now I am selling the VAFC2 as well because I am going to try the PLX R-500 I think. However, I DO plan on going SC down the road.
Version - I would also recommend changing the exhausts. Did you try other exhaust setups when you dyno'd? Regardless, after you change your intake and header, a different exhaust might work better with those other supporting mods - for this, like everyone else, I recommend a 70r. If you are trying to breach new ground and set marks, there is no room for compromise (ironic after I encouraged a VAFC2). T1r 70r from AJ-R is the best deal.
I would recommend J's Intake, ProFlow/Spoon TB, Hondata gasket, Js Header, VAFC2, and T1R 70r.. AND A LIGHTWEIGHT FLYWHEEL....

long time no...uh...see your words....ha! i already want to get type one 70mm single. ricks header. i refuse to pay that much money for an intake, 2-3 more hp is not worth j's intake price. if you hear of anyone wanting to trade spoon for t1r and cash let me know.

i figure i am at 215 now, i gave myself 2rwhp on account of my new kn filter! ha!

Wyatt, what do youy want for the vafc. Do you have the frog harness?

version, you know darn well you're not making 2 hp from that filter I agree with you on the J's intake though, that is an outrageous price. I wouldn't pay 400 dollars for that intake, let alone the 800 or so they're asking. Rick's believes that the top end power loss with the Rick's header can be fixed with tuning, so I'm looking into that now.
