how come you didn't lower the VTEC any? Looks like 5600 is easily possible without loosing torque if not further. I have mine set to 5400 and it feels great, the only difference is that you make a lot more torque and hp between 5400-6000 that wasn't there before

dude, it pulls so hard in vtec. and now it pull hard all the way to redline it find my self bouncing off the rev-limiter if i dont watch the tach!

it feels awesome! thats all i can say! im at a loss for words!

sounds good, i lower it in the morning. its set at 5900 rite now.

Spoon or J's header will be good for your peak BHP.

What's the word on TB's? Ialways presumed that enlarging wouldnt do much, as the inlet manifold would then be the next restriction, as its sized for the original TB. Enlarging one part while the rest is still restricted if you see what mean? Guess its tricky to prove...

according to board members who have done this mod before(not just NA but SC guys), the TB shows a good amount of gains throughout the enire powerband. Ofcourse his is only after the intake mani has been matched to the larger TB.

I wouldnt set the vtec too low... Just because it works for one car, doesn't it mean it will for another. 5400 is way too low.

What's the recommended optimim then? Presumable if you do it with the correct AFR and timing there should be no problem?

I JUST LEFT IT AT 5900, THE CAR IS JUST RUNNING TO WELL TO UFCK IT UP KNOW!
