holy crap versionJDM, that sounds niiice! ...what other mods do you have? and how much did it cost altogether?

if you can, check out the sound clips in my signature...and let me know ya think
my mods are simple, but carefully picked.

KN filter
(now) 70mm header back
vafc tuned

my old setup(spoon exhaust) had me a 221.2 RWHP and 143.5 RWTQ. you can drop 3k in mods and end up making less power than me. just pick the right mods and you can make great power.

Sounds good...definitly LOUD. I can't wait to see how much power you gain with that. Since I now like my quiet car I'll probably just do some header, and then maybe some headwork, TB, cams, etc. just everything without getting a loud single again. We shall see...either all that or to go FI, but unless there is a carb certified turbo or positive displacement SC, I'm not that interested. Again, sounds mean...

I wonder how those mufflers would sound on a dual setup...

i am very impressed with megan products, i have been asked 4 times already if its a HKS muffler. nice welds, very impressed.

intial impression...

top end is MUCh, MUCH, MUCH stronger than the spoon. i dont really notice much low end loss if any. the car flat out boogies. but dyno says the 9-10rwhp peak is very possible now. we'll see.

oh, and you dont want to know how much i paid for it, i got a killer deal. lets just say if i released what i paid for materials, T1R would have a fit because nobody would pay 1k for 70mm anymore. i'll take better pics today of the welds. the exhuast looks pre-maufactured.
