Highway roll does lessen the advantage of the 4.56 FD. However, it does limit the advantage of who is the better driver because it is simply a matter of good shifting. Power being equal, the fact that my S is lighter may come into play.
Bottom line: it would fun.

together we'd be 454hp of ass kicking VTEC!!!!!!

show everyone the kinda of power your car is producing N/A.
Damn...you guys are doing pretty good. All right in/near the 230's.
I'm guessing I'm now in the 205-210 range due to loss of single exhaust, testpipe, and intake. But the EMS is running great now, and I plan to do some dynoing on a dynojet in the next month or so, just to see the advantages of the EMS. Depending on the results (ie if they aren't up to par), I may be looking at a re-tune of the car at Autowave in Dec.
Anyway Democracy is beautiful Version

I didn't think he was that aggresive when I first got it done, at the time it never got above 12.7:1 AFR but then...that isn't bad either. I'm still waiting for my O2 sensor to "clean itself" which it seems to be doing. At 5000ft I was showing a 13.7 peak and around 12.8-13.4 for the majority. Though this is at 5000ft, it will be richer down at sea level since I will be running more air through, and higher manifold pressure. So, needless I will be watching it. And basically, I'm going to be doing this dyno soon to see just how aggresive he did tune it, because I never had a stock base map. On his dyno I made 235 with exhaust/intake/testpipe/flywheel/ and the EMS, I saw it start out around 220 or so on the base map from AEM but I know I didn't make 15hp and the AEM base map is not better then stock even. Anyway, after fixing all that other elec. stuff the car seems to be running better. I'll let you guys know how things go, besides I want a base map with the stock ECU.
Once I get some spare time from school too, I'm going to research more about specifically tuning the EMS, I've tuned plenty of cars before, and at one point modified churches tune on my car but have since reverted back to his since it was acting up before (though not due to my tune, it was this other elec. stuff). Anyway, I basically need to learn about logging on the EMS and find out how to log raw knock counts and then find out what the raw knock base count is, and go from there. Once I start getting more knock you basically just pull back to the previous setting make sure there is no knock there, then give a buffer from there for the more extreme conditions. Of course it is more complicated then just that, but not too much.
Those with timing control, how much are you able to run on 91 oct. I'm only going to 30 degrees.

It was shawn...and well, it seemed like it was acting up. I fixed ALOT of wiring issues this weekend, found that my UEGO wideband was getting very little power due to the wire being "broken" at the connection to power. Seems to be running better there now. My AFR's were all over the place, they are looking more stable now.

im just asking because other than shawn there dosent seem to be too man skilled honda tuners in So Cal other than him, doug from hondata which dosent apply to us. and a guy at Autowave i forgot his name but i have talked to him before.

Dont get me wrong, Shawn is a good guy and has done a great job with these cars thus far. But I have uncertainties as to the performance quality of my tune. Though I hate saying any of this, because it really just is speculations, I don't know anything until I test it.

Well...if I did it again, I'd probably go to Autowave...the guy's name is Mike. But if YOU want to be sure, I will be doing this test in probably about a month. Basically I plan to dyno on the stock ECU, then swap out and put the EMS in and dyno with that on shawns map. And if I have time between now and then, I may modify his map and see if I make more power with my own.

he brought a customers car to SCC ultimate street car challange... Twin turbo NSX. 9k redline, he tuned it , made well over 800 WHP. if he can tune that thing im pretty sure he can muster up some power out of a NA f20.
