I will keep you guys updated on the numbers when i dyno the car. I'm new here so you guys prolly dont know much about what im doing. Its a all motor car fully built. ERL sleeved Superdeck 1 block,87mm to 89mm bore, F22C crank, Crower rods, 12.0:1 Pistons. Fully Built alaniz tech head(ti retainers, springs, .5mm oversides intake valves and 1mm on the exhuast. Bronze guides,Comp port polish ,comp valve job, ARP studs, AEM EMS with support from Torque Freaks. ( Thanks Jason). Bolt ons will be J's Racing or Toda Header and the T1R 70MM Exhuast. Still debating on what intake to use. J's racing clutch/flywheel , RC 550cc injectors, 255lph pump, FPR. That sums up most of it. I hope to post more but i wanted to chime in because i too am curious to see what kinda gains i will see. Once this is tuned in i will see what kinda number i put up. I plan on using nitrous on this car but i want as much All motor power as i can get without only having a race fuel only car. In the future ITB's will def be a option. I talked with aj's and one of the guys dynoed (F20) 198whp and with , J's intake, header,TB,Ecu, and exhuast went to 236whp. I think you can get what you want but doing it All NA is expensive as most have said. I know i have spent alot of money. Best of luck man

With the increased displacement, I'd go with the J's header. Your setup sounds sick, I can't wait to hear more about it!

I think you could see over 260 whp on that, honestly...the problem is that nobody has really done all motor builds yet so everybody thinks the S2k is horrible at responding to N/A mods. In contrary its not too bad, while simple bolt-ons don't get huge gains, thats typical for most cars except the big V8's.

As you mentioned an intake/exhaust/header/TB/and ECU can net almost 40whp! Thats a big jump...while it could also relate to the day and such that would still be atleast 30whp...and IMO thats a big jump with bolt ons.

Good luck with your project, I'm also planning for 550's and a walbro 255 in the not too far future since I will have the EMS to run them.

i fully expect after header, vfac, test pipe, to be over 230rwhp. on down the road, spoon HG, 70mm TB, and....yes.....i mugen/j's intake. if you cant beat em, join em! then maybe 240rwhp!

I think this is all exciting. Everyone scoffs when you mention that you want to make good NA power, but that's because they spend so much money on stuff like comptech mods that do not make hardly any power but are so overpriced. Knowing the car's weaknesses helps in buying the right parts to address them. To ERL: your car sounds NASTY! I'm sure your 260-270 hp will take the SC cars. All you need now is a TB and a 4.77 gearset and your car could be running 12s.

Damn ERL... Can't wait to hear more about your setup. Sounds great. I would definitely get the J's header over the Toda.

hey I was just wondering what rpm are you usually at with 4.77 gears cruising at 75-80? 4.44 and 4.56? Thanks a bunch

I got an aem v2 but then I sold it for fear of hydrolock, anyway I'm just looking for some more umf in lower and mid range without losing to much top end and without much risk to the motor like fi.

Sorry for the thread hijack
