to the best of my knowledge 4.77's @ 80 are about 5k. 4.56's are like 4600, 4.44's about 4400. i am mostly likely way off. but i am sure someone will correct me! haha!

I think Version is pretty close...
If the #'s are off, they are at least right proportionally.
I have 4.44 for the sake I am always on the freeway. But the 4.56 is probably the best match for this car if you aren't always on the freeway. 4.77s IMO are a bit much, especially if it's a DD.

Thanks everyone for the positive comments. I will sure keep you all updated i should have the car running in the next 2-3weeks. My "nasty" setup costs me some money as most would rather spend that on Turbo/SC setup but i feel for what i wana use the car for it should work out very well. I feel i did things the correct way and hope to be rewarded with some awsome power.Im excited to step into a high hp NA car. Everyone on this board seems very cool and helpful. The info has helped me alot on here. So im here to stay thanks once again everyone and i will do everything i can to share info and my experiance with everyone.

If you think about it though, the 4.77s could make the best gas mileage for you. I know when I get mine, I'll be cruising at a much lower RPM on the highway, which will result in less speeding tickets and less gas used, because I'll be traveling slower. If you're spending the money on gears, I wouldn't go with less than 4.56 myself. I'm going 4.77 because they are THAT much quicker than the 4.56 gearset. Coupled with my other mods, I'm confident that I'll pull on a SC at the typical stoplight confrontation. I'll also be able to waste 350zs, and stay even with EVO and STi, and beat or stay with other cars that are usually in "our range" or better.

Just to reiterate, because my post seemed confusing, the 4.77s will make me want to cruise slower on the highway to KEEP the RPMs down. This way, I will be less tempted to speed on the highway.

To have 4.77s revving the at the same RPM as a 4.44 or 4.56, you'd need to be going probably 10+ mph slower. Personally I don't like to go 60mph on the freeway, but yes, it can save tickets.
However, it wont save you gas mileage. You'll be revving lower, but you'll take longer to get there. It takes a certain RPM to go a certain distnace with a gear. Does that make sense?
With my 4.44 FG and other mods, I will also kill 350Z. An SC S2 will pull on me from 3rd gear. An STI will take me until 80mph.
I don't want to be limited to 125mph though, so I didn't want 4.77s. If you never go above that, than they are fine. But I do.

What kinda gear set should i go with in my setup. please shed some light into that. Also please someone help me deside on the header and exhast im going to use. Toda which i can get a good deal on from someone on here or the J's racing which seems to be the best out there. Then its the T1r 70mm or the J's racing. Also the Amuse 70mm ti seems sick but is it worth the money.

Why does he have a T1R test pipe with the J's 70RR? The J's exhaust is header back.

I'd say go with the J's 70rr exhaust and the J's header. It probably the biggest hp adding setup out there right now.

As far as gears...I personally believe the 4.56's are the best setup...however if you are strictly building your car for the track and never plan to see a speed over 130mph then 4.77's might be the way to go.

With your setup and 4.56 gears, you will be faster then the SC guys
