I'm hoping for around 240 rWhp. We think it's possible with the cam upgrade.

Anybody looking for a well rounded and fantastic power producing header should listen to VersionJDM, he has "insider info." We are going to test the final design in approx. 2 weeks.

I think it is important to note however that the header will be designed for motors making power ranging from stock(202rwhp) to fairly modified at 245rwhp. Guys with ITB's, huge cams, and A LOT of headwork would most likely have to use a header with slightly larger piping. However, you cant ever really predict EXACTLY how a motor will respond to changes until you have tested it in the REAL WORLD. In other words, we would have to test on such heavily modified motors to say for sure whether or not it would be good for heavily modified setups. Of course we could calculate/speculate, but the only way to know for sure is REAL WORLD TESTING.

FYI, here is the numbers from our most recent test. This is on an AP1 equipped only with an open 2.5in exhaust (no cat+high flow muffler) and the header which is under developement (but very near completion). Note peak gains of 7hp and 5ft/lbs, but more importantly note the MASSIVE 20hp and 18ft/lbs at 5900 RPM as well as excellent gains across the board.

Please note, the only tuning changes made with the V-AFCII were to drop V-tec engagement to 5600rpm and lean out the a/f mixture on the top end. Any other fuel adjustments you see on the a/f graph is the stock ECU adjusting itself (which it did a good job of!).

LOL! Give him a break, he's confused. He thinks this is the corner game!

As for the quote from the cam guys, I'm glad I got Jenvey's on the way instead of TWM's!!

...Now if my damn package would just arrive already!!

good numberson the header so far, but again a lot of the gains(specifically that 20hp) is probably due to the vtec engagement point. It's similar to what hondata did with their ecu upgrade for the 06

Version already has his vtec engagement lowered (I think), so his car is a perfect test of this prototype header...

oh i know, best test would be to mount and dyno on his car. I'm talking about the one posted bottom of last page.

well the ap2 gearing is already lower compared to the ap1 gearing. so if he had 4.57's in his ap2 then it would be like having 4.77's in an ap1 tranny. Maybe that's what he meant about having 4.77's in the lower gears? And making the fifth and sixth gear taller may take a bit more money, but I'm glad to se he did it the right way. I'd probably do the same thing.
How hard is it to accomplish this? I want to have the 4.77 street pull, but still have the highway driveability. How much extra is it to make your 5th and 6th gears taller?
