the Official "NA Tuning" thread
so, if we all raced what do you think the outcome would be? i know there are like 700 different variables but for conversations sake....
i think from a dig:
wildcard ans silver both jump ahead, i pull blownAP, and sorry but joey gets left behind. i slowly reel both wildcard and silver in with nate right on my ass and i dare say that at 110+ i start finally pass the wildcard and silver.
this race didnt include justin as hes FI'd now.

I really think that wildcard could get a few more ponies out of his S2000 if he were to tune it leaner. IIRC he's at around 13 AFR, while version is at almost 14.

I'm getting a re-tune @2rwerks just before christmas, I'm going to have him up the fuel pressure to at least stock pressure (47 psi...I'm at 38 right now) to get better atomization in hopes of curing a low throttle backfiring situation I can now repeat over and over. I'm also going to have him see if he can get any more timing into it, and lean it out some more everywhere, as I'm still running quite rich. I'd like to hit 220, but realistically I'm expecting to pick up another 5 everywhere. If I can get my AFR's closer to 13.8, I might get a few more ponies out of it.
As for the race, that sounds just about right
Anybody catch OGPackin's review of the Crower cams? Apparently, the cams didn't live up to the hype 2nrwerks made them out to be.

Suffice to say that the stock cams were definitely very well engineered from the start.

remember, he's FI. FI and N/A cams, by nature, need VERY different specs to make power. I was skeptical about these cams working on FI cars to begin with...lets only hope they don't fall flat on their face on the N/A customers as well...
I too was very dissapointed in the resuts, but as far as another customer, 4bang6 in the Florida forum loved his, although his cheap ass hasn't dyno'd them yet.
