I'm baffled at how 2nrwerks can throw out these large horsepower figures without any prior dyno testing. I'm sure they are a reputable shop and the BC cams are very high-quality, but from a logical perspective, I find it absolutely ridiculous for them to create all this hype without any proof.

i think i heard about capping off the the stock intake resonator somwhere on the forums a while back but i forgot what it'll actually do. can somebody shed some light on this?
will it increase noise? any power gains or loss?

 

i have a fully gutted airbox and it showed 0 gains on the dyno.

 

Dont the orgbox work like a 3chamber Bandpass?

So the box shoud have a freqvens in the diffrent parts inside the box that prevents the air to stop in it.
So gutted boxes can possible be a disadvantege.

Thats my ideas.

i wonldnt doubt that, but since i didnt lose power i dont plan on trying to find a stock air box again.

 

Ok, so who are we waiting on next to try something to break 230? I'd get cams right now if I could...
I might be able to get a set for my birthday in April from the 'rents if I beg...

 

if everything with the "secret" header works out, i am fairly certian i can break 230.
