yea I know the gains are going to be minimal compared to a full piggyback or stand alone, Ultimate E-manage is my next step.

Im not too much concerned with peak( would be great tho), I just want to drop my Vtec a couple hundred and get a Smooth crossover. and hold more Horsepower after 8200RPMs. after I hit peak power it just kills me knowing how bad it drops off.

Also I want to really test out the 3inch header back. I know will probly lose some low-midrange HP/Tq, but I'm mainly focusing on what the gains are in the Vtec area.

I will report back with Dyno sheets.

My car is bone stock right now besides the hondata IMG, and Krank vents. I will also provide dyno graphs for the Krankvents as being the only delta, Im interested if they did give me any extra HP.
i've got vtec crossover set at 5400, and compared to my stock plots, my midrange JUMPED 15whp at 6500rpm and then kept building power all the way to 8800!

8800 RPMS that is were I need the power.

I think it would help alot while racing/doing a pull. after 8200 RPMs it feels like Im not acclerating anymore

actually you're not, the purpose of reving to 9k is so that when you shift into the next gear you fall right in the power band. after my tune, i found myself bouncing off the rev-limiter cause the car pulled almost right to the redline.

and initially a VAFC II for tuning.
Is the VAFC just temporary until you go EMS? If not and the cost difference is the reason to go VAFC, might want to see if the new AEM piggie-back is on the market when it is time to buy.

Supposed to go for under $500 and give ability to adj timing and modify outputs rather than inputs. Looks like it might be a low cost EMS alternative and still be able to get you past a smog inspection.

It says you can play with fuel, but only RETARD timing? is that true?

I'm guessing that exhaust alone will help lean you out. Engaging VTEC earlier and smoothing the transition will at first make you feel like you lost power simply because you won't have that "kick." Good luck with it. I've inquired at Inline about their 3" exhaust. Not sure if I"m ready to get that loud.

Since my concern is from 6k-up, I'll be watching for your results.

i guess i just figure that with the added displacement, how can it not!
I'm at 241 w/ 12:1 and AEM EMS. Valvetrain has been lightened. Flywheel lightened. Header, testpipe, Invidia dual. 93 octane. I know location and dynos have a lot to do with final numbers, but I hesitate to project 250 easy.

I don't think you can assume that because a 2.0L motor puts out 200 rwhp that an increase of 25% in displacement will net 25% more power. Not being an engine specialist, I am going to guess that there is a point of diminishing return.

you should go 3inch single for the track. that will tip you over 250whp
