lookin good version, but you should try and polish out the line where the OEM mirrors touched the door.

p.s. what kind of deal did you get on the OEM lip?

facelift

I never was a fan of the Amuse lip to begin with. It definitely looks 10x cleaner with the AP1 lip.

Mirrors look great too

Ehh...I wasn't always a fan on the Amuse lip either, until I fell in love with it I just put my Amuse lip on about a month ago...no time to take some good pics though.

However, before I got the Amuse lip I was in a bunch of turmoil as to which lip to get. The OEM was always big on my list...so I love the new look, its much more subtle but still agressive. With yours though, I'd sand that thing down and take it to a body shop...I was going to tell you to take it back before I read that you sprayed it with a rattle can...I mean, it works for now and is better then primer, but...paint it.

As for an update on my build, I've decided to stick with 11.5:1 compression. I need something easy to run on the stock ECU, with 91 oct pump gas, and hopefully pass smog. The higher I go up in compression, the less chance I have for all of the above. Now, because the head will be getting milled (only the min) the compression will actually be a little higher. I'm guessing around the 11.7 range, but then thats just a guess.

I am also getting a Competition stage II clutch with the organic disc, Inline Pro does not recommend the ACT which I currently have because it simply slams the friction disc into the flywheel to achieve higher torque capacity instead of using better material...this puts a lot of strain on the thrust bearing and isn't the best for the motor. And besides the clutch has been on the car for quite a while now, and since the motor will be out, it may as well be replaced.

I'm going with 550cc injectors on the stock ECU, new OEM motor & tranny mounts, and initially a VAFC II for tuning.

So basically just a normal 2.5 build with all the additional required parts.

Ohh...Inline pro springs and retainers as well...more of a safety thing. My springs and retainers have been in for nearly 80k miles, just to rule out the possibility of a cracked retainer grenading my motor I'm swaping these out as well.
