tuning went Great!!! the Vafc is a little tricky when you first start out, because I had no instructions, and I found very little on the web about tuning.

but i managed to get a still very safe A/F across the board, with nothing over 13.5. I will tune futher when i get my 3 inch ( mybe today )

but my peak went from 203WHP Baseline to 211WHP, so peak went up 7-8 HP. Trq only jumped up 2Wtq, LOL but Im VERY happy about the results I got from 8200RPM to redline, between 12-15 WHP over stock, @ 8700 before i was making 189whp, now thats up to 203.

I will post my dyno sheet sometime today.

VAFC one of the BEST bang for the buck mods. even on a stock AP1

[QUOTE]On a side note, my brother is giving me a $100 online shopping spree, and I picked up some extra side money, I think I'm going to order up some 3" mufflers and pipe...make my own exhaust. I'm curious though, are any aftermarket exhausts made out of aluminum?? If not, why not?
If there's no good answer to this question, I may make my exhaust out of aluminum. Custom 3" dual...should be sweet

again my baseline may seem a little lower, this was done on our AWD dynojet that reads a tad bit lower than the 2wd.

and for comparison here is my VAFC tune vs my T1r headerback. remember my vafc tune is only with these mods : k&n drop-in, Krankvents, and the Hondata IMG.

On a side note, the Krankvents DO add midrange power, 2-3 HP the whole way, except at the very peak. good 100 bucks spent along with way less oil consumption when the car is beat on!

P.S.S

I droped V-tec, and thats all i did, i didnt do ANY fuel tuning in that area, so there is a DIP in the Vtec engagement area, I will work on that next week, along with the new exhaust

Very cool dude. I think with the 3" exhaust you'll hit the 220 rwhp mark.

Version, did you bolt the 70mm on to do some header dynoing?
