Who? Im not going to Axiom...
I don't think I'll go half-ass on the tune. I'll trek down to TorqueFreaks.

Dude... $800 installed for the gears.
They'll do more than any exhaust, any header, any intake, any tuned ECU.... You decide. Is your car for speed, or dyno queen? I'm having no trouble selling mine, I just want you to get gears. HAHA.

Im leaning to the BLUE and getting close to buy...

So I need the BLUE box, software, and a USB cable.
How does it install? Does this piece require splicing OEM harnesses?

Thanks!

As already mentioned, you can get a PnP harness from boomslang.
I used them before and they are
No splicing needed.
And for a few $$ i recommend upgrading to the full harness (injectors,Ignition).

Louie,
I am going to buy just the Emanage BLUE.
You can get the USB cables for a few bucks, and download the software. Neither of us have extensive mods to need pressure sensors or injector harnesses.

When you are ready (hopefully in a week or two), we should email a few retailers to see if they'll give a slight break if we order 2. Worse case, we save on shipping having them both go to your place or something. We'll see.
I was just given the site for software downloads. Thanks you-know-who!
Now I just need to find the USB Cable and the best tuner around. I'm thinking TorqueFreaks down in Portland?
you can not use a normal USB, you need the Emange cable, it is a USB/serial

WyattH, I may be mistaken but I thought you could only adjust VTEC with the Ultimate, not with the regular Blue. If you track your car the datalogging and the ability to have two maps would be very convenient features, but I would go with the Ultimate for the VTEC control alone, not to mention the fact that you would undoubtedly be able to pull more hp out of your car with the Ultimate due to it's far-advanced capabilities over the Blue. When you think about it, you're paying $250 more for a plug-n-tune system with the Ultimate than with the Blue, so if you can get more hp/tq and put your VTEC where you want it, I think it would be one of the cheapest, most effective mods to do....

the Emanage cable is not a standard USB cable that you can get everywhere.

Correct it is a USB to serial cable ( The Ultimate takes a standard USB )

Using the injector harness will only let you add fuel on the BLUE ( with the ultimate , you can add or subtract via the injector )

Vtec can be changed on the BLUE +- 1000 rpm in 100rpm increments - it also has it own fuel adjustment to correct .

I agree if you are a track junkie , the data logging feature of the EU is a plus . You can monitor things like temps and knock .
