...actually, it looks like the VTEC duration is 300/298, but then again, I'm not a cam expert, and these numbers don't mean squat to me...

Well, mainly because I have already spent so much. I seriously don't have the money to spend on getting cams yet. And because...who says those cams will make power? I can wait to until a set of cams come out that actually make power, its not like the cams would be easier or better to do with the motor out of the car. So really I can do them at any time.

Probably the next mod I'll do is some sort of header, but I don't even want to think about that yet

Now. I could have done a turbo setup...but I needed a new block, thats what gave me the final shove to do the N/A build. I mean, I had a turbo car before...it was fun, but I think that 250whp and the low end torque is exactly what I want from the S. And hey if some good cams come out, and good header, and other little mods 300whp N/A is attainable from this setup.



As for an affordable stroker...the K24 crank and H22 rods would be cool, however I wanted something others have had, run, and experienced before (so something that will work)...And about 1/2 the cost is in other things related to but not the actual engine...and that would hold true for any setup.
