He's probably asking me since my photo shows no intercooler

It is not installed quite yet, I have talked to my installer and we should be putting it in in the first or second week of February. I'm still putzing around in my 4.77 diff which is being sold to a local club member this coming weekend, and I'm waiting for some of my student grant money to help finish this project. I just got back from taking my girlfriend to Germany and France for two weeks and money is a bit tight at the moment

So, about one more month and it'll be done! Until then, the corner in my bedroom still has 4k worth of turbo parts just sitting around

I plan to boost 8 pounds and I'm hoping for 330 rwhp.

Let us know when it's done.

Thanks for the happy 21 everybody...and Version...lol I was a determined kid to get the S2000.

Also good job skip on the post delete thing...haha

Last, Wildcard...I doubt I'll be dynoing next...but say a little over a month before I have the car running again. Then about 3000 miles for break in (which will probably go by quick)...and then I'll be dynoing.

WTH??? 3k miles? Totally not necessary. Since you'll be running AEM EMS, you'll need to be on the dyno to tune.

Yeah - if anything at least get some partial throttle settings so you can putz around town during your brake in.

there was a dyno day today in so fla and about 15 s2ks were there and lots of k20s it was fun

i think i dynoed the highest for ap1 at 217 hp and 149tq.
one ap1 did 190 hp, another did 205 and one got 210.
ill post some pics and maybe a vid later.
the tuner said that my air fuel goes pig rich after 8k so i can tune with a vafc and get more power...also before vtec it goes rich and i can also get more power there midrang

Meh...I was just planning on doing a good solid break in before I ever really beat on the motor, not entirely necessary...but is it worse on the motor? Especially since in its first 2 months of life it will be having cold starts at below freezing temps?

And as for the EMS, yes I will be tuning on it, but the plan is to break the motor in on the stock ECU and then go to the EMS afterwards. I've talked to Ya about that...and unless Jeremy says otherwise then thats probably how I'll do it.
