True, but if all you can afford is a VAFC, you can still get decent gains.


and if ANY tuner can't tune a VAFC safely than that is NOT a tuner, I mean all you need is a wideband and a dyno.

My dumbass was able to tune a VAFC and I have no tuning experience,


with that said, any good tuner is going to recommend you going with something other than a VAFC LMFAO

And I added an ACT clutch. Same combo I had in my last car and put 20k miles on it and took it out and it looked pretty darn good still. I like the ACT + Fidanza combo.

We initially got 7whp out of the VAFC II but this last dyno the a/f ratio was back to 12:1. I dont really understand why, if anything it should have run a little leaner than it was. Makes no sense to me but like I said I'm gonna get it re tuned to 13.2 range. Thanks for the info doods.

your ECU probably re-learned. you need to set your VAFC to WOT only,

on the Widerange set to 99%, set your narrow to 0%

why on earth would you dyno in 5th? Your forcing the engine to work harder than it has to...thus putting less power to the ground...

Crower's stuff works great on everything else...just the s2k's don't respond well to cams.

Think it has anything do with VTC...and lack thereof on the S2000?
