I'm still trying to get used to seeing "lean" A/F's from my sc'er point of view. Any thoughts on what a stroked motor would like to see? I hope to get a little datalogging in Thursday(1052U).
i would imagine a stroker, just like a 2.0/2.2 will benefit from 13.5:1 + in the AFR range.

tune! badly. You should be making more power then that. May be something wrong with the motor?
what could be wrong? My car only has 36000 miles on it, I changed the oil every 3000 miles. I know the previous owner did take car of the car.

yea, so the engine doesnt have to work as hard to spin the drivetrain, so the power "freed up" translates directly to the ground...

...at least that's how it makes sense in my mind...
makes sense to me.

you're thinking like a Turbo owner. the more you lean out an engine the more power it will make, to a certain point, and then BOOM! s2k's like to run leaner than average. for example, my WOT AFR is 13.9:1. my car loves it there. now on a boost application that kinda AFR would like pistons on the pavement, but on the s2k it makes the car ufcking scream.
lol that is sooo funny......... from a tuning stand point he may be right. 13.5+ a/f's is kinda a no no.

but from my experience I have seen Dozens of factory fresh trucks/ SUVs, which dont seem to run to much timing, run over 14:1 all day long, the chevy trailblazer runs over 15:1 throughout the entire powerband.

just food for thought.

not sure exactly ...only you would now if there was anything wrong. The power curve looks smooth and healthy, but your not making good power for the mods you have done. I'd suspect it could be do to your tune. Most with similar mods are around 215whp.

You are right , that's exactly what i was expecting to see. I was disappointed with the number that my car put out but I am happy with the performance.

What kind of dyno was it on? could be the dyno you were on, same tend to rea lower.

no doubt I'm sure the car feels a lot freeir with those mods.

This is exactly why I hold less weight on dyno numbers. They can vary dyno-to-dyno, day-to-day on the same dyno, etc. Actually driving the car is the best measure.
