send it to me i'll dyno it on april 7th.
I might be able to pull some strings..... 230whp in the bag, as the intake has Zero affect on A/f's my before and after were solid like stock, so your VAFC tune will still be good.

Ill pm you soon about it.

-Nate

p.s. I am on the dyno as we speak, I just installed a Berk TP, going to baseline and re-tune my VAFC II

The intake must effect the A/F compared to stock or there are no power gains. It must effect A/F to some degree because the point at which the intake supposedly makes power, the engine is running completely open loop. Since the car is not equipped with a 0-5v wide band oxygen sensor, and the narrow band is used for only partial throttle cruise, idle and other emissions related functions. If the intake is indeed making the engine breath better , either by increasing air flow, increasing air density by ingesting a cooler air charge or a combination of the two; the a/f ratios would indeed be effected.
There would at least be some minor spiking as the IAT reads lower air temps
which would allow the engine more timing and fuel, increasing the engines effective output. It has to come from somewhere.

I really really, want someone else to dyno this intake, back to back. 3rd party....... to bad Nate already has ITB's because i know he has a big dyno day coming up, I would send him out the intake for testing.
I should be having my car tuned sometime during the week of March 19th-23rd, my spring break. I don't mind meeting up with you at sometime that week, I'll be having Mike @ Autowave tune the car. However, on my car it would be stock w/ K&N filter vs. the intake.

Got all of you beat! Car goes back on the dyno in two weeks- prepping for my track event at the end of February. Currently, I'm using a stock intake with a K&N drop-in.

Car wasnt responding today to the VAFC as it usually does.

baselined around 215-216WHP with the TP and FIPK. leaned it out to 13.2 and the peak only went up 2WHP LOL. Im still making HUGE gains after peak power... but im kinda bummed out that I could make more in the midrange......

oh well, tomorrow I am doing extensive testing of the custom intake and heat shield, I shouldnt call it a heat shield, it looks more like a piece of sheet metal....... I took MINES word for it and made it huge.

Like it was said before, dynoing day to day without a baseline really blows.....

tomorrow I am going to put my car back to stock, besides the Hondata IMG, and krank vents.

installed the TP, Intake, the VAFC tune it... so show the REAL gains....

If I were you, I would feel great too, today my cars BEST baseline pull was 218WHP.

Tp and K&N...... the power has gotta be coming from one of the 2, I know its a combination but you only need 3 RWHP.. it will get it done
