sorry, this 4.77 suggestion is not to be believed. they are a joke. PM rojaboy. i did his 4.77s and he pulled a road trip with us the next day. while we were all cruising 80-90, he was tached out, nearly in vtec the whole trip. 4.77s are lame, and far too hardcore to daily drive. unless you have another car for road trips.
and as for all the naysayers, who here has dynoed an AEM v2 recently? oh wait,,, NO ONE. talk to aem. ive said this before, and its like i was speaking of the knights templar. they dynoed 12-16 rwhp every time they ran the car. and posted it, everyone called BS, and they got flamed so bad, they took it all down, and stopped claiming any gains at all. trust me, i went from being 2 cars back, and losing to my buddies M roadster, to being neck and neck. in the same night, with just an AEM v2. it makes a HUGE difference. there are many believers in vegas now. heheh. later
(1) I have the 4.77 and have waaaay above 80mph and wasn't even close to being "tached out". So, my you probably didn't have the yellow box calibrated.

(2) Where have you been? Lots of people have posted dynos with V2...no where near 10rwhp.

you really don't have any idea what you're talking about so quit while your behind....sh*t you've been on the board 2 years, but your talking like some newbie.
JDM, if you have any questions, shoot me a pm.

Since the S is pretty much tapped out in hp, would it be more beneficial to spend your money on weight reduction if you want to stay NA?

For example, carbon fiber fenders, bumpers, trunk, hood, etc.

C-West S2K is a pretty good example as well but I think the costs are astronomical.

Ohh god...this thread is rediculous...

I'm also shooting for a short time goal of 230whp on the stock F20c.

Mods:
AEM V1
JIC Cat-back
Custom Test-pipe
Comptech Flywheel
AEM EMS w/UEGO

Now I don't plan to make 230 yet...maybe 220 possibly with a fresh oil change

A J's racing header, all the mugen cooling mods, hondata gasket, J's TB, I'm hoping should get me closer...and then after that Alaniz headwork and a thinner headgasket to bump compression up. It'll be a slow process for me, but I'll be posting dynos and stuff along the way.
Current plan is to tune in mid December at Church...

ya...I know, I know its a pain in the ass...but it'll be worth it, especially since I'll also be blocking the coolant to the intake mani.

I may one day go 2.2, but if I ever do, I'll be using stronger rods and staying with 9000rpms. I'm planning to rev the 2.0 out to around 9500 or so after headwork and everything, one day.

Kay's and Silver, you guys are totally on the right track. Silver, the Hondata gasket is tough, but its not a monster. I'd suggest doing the Mugen cooling mods at the same time (saves installation time down the road). Which set-up from Alaniz are you going with...he list several options on his website.

Ya, I hoping to do hondata gasket along with all the cooling mods, along with a coolant system flush, and wrapping my AEM V1 with some header wrap all at the same time, but we'll see. I just got my a-piller pod and oil pressure gauge, so I'm going to install that and the UEGO before I get to Shawn, after that maybe I'll get some cooling mods for x-mas

As far as Alaniz, I'll probably go with the full compitition head its somewhere around 1,800 and he'll basically do everything. I'll probably talk to him about what my specific needs and goals are though and I'm sure he will build it to my specs. Its going to be quite a while before I get there though, I'm also trying to reduce the wieght of my car, and trying to make mine look similar to yours tenblade, I really think you've done an awesome job with it.
