the Official "NA Tuning" thread
Justin, I'd guess you'd hit about 220whp with that setup. From what I understand of F20C ECU tuning, MY00 F20C ECUs are tuned very rich from the factory, so I don't think that bigger injectors would help much. The TB will give you very little if any gain until you are making serious horsepower, and gearing your car lower (higher numerically) will actually cause your rear-wheel horsepower to decrease a little bit. Megan Racing has a reputation for building their products to match their prices, so I wouldn't expect big numbers out of that header. I assume that right now you are at about 212whp (say 210 after gears), so with a good V-AFC tune and the Megan header you should pick up 10-12 whp. I haven't seen numbers from anyone running an E-manage Ultimate, but you should be able to pick up more hp with that -- strap it on to a J's Racing header and you could be at 230whp!

For those of you who own a 2006+ s2k, there's a new thread about a Hondata reflash that gains 23 hp/20 lbs of torque with a Toda header/tp in the S2000 Talk forum.
Don't get me wrong I fully believe lowering the VTEC for better mid range is great. But their advertising is misleading. I'm sure I'm near 20whp over stock at 5800 as well. My VTEC is at 5400 with an EMS.
And Justin, ya, I'd probably skip the Megan header...I'm just not feeling it. Unless of course it dyno's good but right now I have a good feeling it wont show much at peak. Other then that though you'll be pretty good.
it is a bit offtopic but I am having a head prepared at ballistic motorsports, the shop that built the 271 whp with a 2.1L engine, the head increases compresion to 12.5:1 +/-, have overside valves, better guides, springs able to rev +10.000 rpm more detail by emails.
If someone is interested pm please

I've just been waiting for a dyno or two on the Megan. It has really large piping so I've been optimistic, but I would never buy without some real dynos from members here on the board. How exactly does the Toda header compare to the J's? If the J's really is the shit, I may spring for it but the 1200 dollars or so for the piece just seems ludicrous. I'll have to do some more research I guess. That and the E-manage Ultimate.
Does anyone know where to get a Spoon headgasket? I'm having some oil seepage around the seams of my block so I know I probably need one anyway.
remeber wyatt and JDM to go to Carb connection in Kirkland. They are top notch and do the ferrari dyno days, porsche race cars, have m3s and vipers in their shop, twin turbo GTO and they are open saturdays with a huge built in fan, just make sure to call and set an appt.

I hope it will be a killer setup
I had to start from somewhere.
As you know, I wanted to go single but couldn't go with Titanium. So T1R70mm was my first choice. After lots of tries to get one, shipping costs was too much from your side of the planet. So i decided to get all my stuff from japan and save on shipping.
As for the exhaust, its a dual without resonator, and the V bend looks promising.

The plugs are HEAT RANGE 8. Prices can be found HERE. I got them from Japan too.
This my stage1 setup. Watch out for more
