I noticed that most of you had good BMI's before you started the program. How damning is this for fat guys? I'm sitting at 5'8" and around 215 lbs. I have strong arms and legs but my stomach looks like a boulder in a pond.

Can I lose a lot of weight or is this just a tone-up? (I would be sticking to the diet)
Some of the dvd's are tough for example the Yoga one...I avoided the yoga as it was a killer on my wrists and just plain boring.

If your at least 500 Calories off your maintenance, while doing the p90x program than you"ll lose fat while maintaining your Lean Body Mass....however the program can't really be used if your serious about strength or muscle building after you've trimmed down.

If you find the p90x is not for you, look into Escalating Density Training or EDT,in 6 months on a 600 cal. deficit diet and EC stack,I managed to lower my BF by 4.5% all while never going anywhere near a cardio machine.

However I do not recommend an EC stack unless you talk with a doctor first.
