Some people are eager to get on with their life. 22 years old is not too young to get married. If you want to have sex with other women, break up with your girlfriend, and get on with your life. Stop wasting her time.

If this is a hard question for you, I would hate to see you in a restaurant trying to decide on a meal. For crying out loud, your girlfriend wants to marry you. When the heck are you gonna "know?" Did you order a brain, and once it arrives and is installed, you will "know?" Realistically, you will get married, then one or both of you will decide that the other person is not worthy of being treated with the respect we give strangers, and you will be involved in a divorce. Not a big deal. Doesn't really matter in the long run.

You were right...it was an insecurity thing.

To sum it up...I basically told her that I was not thinking about marraige at this point of my life. I said that she is definately marraige material, and if we ended up being married later on...I would be very happy.

We had a long talk and in the end...she decided to hang in there with me

 

Urgh, I am just an opposite of your case Unicron.
I have been dating my girlfriend for two years and I know she is the one for me. But the marrying with me is farthest from her mind.
Oh well, it saddens me. Usually it is man who has problem commiting but for me it is opposite, sad...
