thanks. i appreciate the mounting and testing offer, but i've done a few subs and am mainly just concerned about fit.

right now, the e8A is listing for $165... they say as soon as stock arrives, that will go to $180. i'm not sure what shipping is...

i remembered PM'ing you about the HX2 and other options about 3 months ago while i was budgeting -- are those figures still good? if you'd like, i can resend what you sent me for verification...

thanks William.

DJ Qube: What are the dimensions of the amp you used? Any idea on how big an amp can be stuck in there?

I know the Blaupunkt PA-4100 for sure...but some other ones I'm looking at that might are the Autotek SX-4160 259 or the Earthquake PH250.2

i ordered mine just last night -- i think my shipping was right at $17-$18. it's probably dependant upon where you're shipping to...

i had it shipped to me at home, but am wondering if i should have it shipped to William for fitment...

William, even though you haven't seen one yet, do you think that after doing SC_Highlander's, will there be any major issues for fitment? or will it pretty much be wire it up and drop in w/ the spacer?

The best thing to do is to pull out you spare tire and take measurements. You can even take your spare tire into your sound shop and hold it up to the amps on the wall. I used 5/8" thick MDF, with carpet, and 1/4" high spacers between the wood and amp for ventilation. If you go with a different design, I'm sure you could get more height space. I also had a bit of length and width space to spare.

The 300/4 does not fit in the spare.
