The new X50 is much havier than the old one. Suction cups are bigger...
is it? are they? i hadn't noticed.... i just stuck mine onto my old bracket and plugged in my hardwire...

8500 X-50 is a bit havier, just a little bit. The suction cups part has been improved since the last one I got. The first release of 8500 had a smaller thinner suction cups which would go soft during sunny day and cause the detector to be bouncing when u drive. The new one is a bit thicker, a bit wider.
