The kit will not be offered in non-IC format - AFIK

I know a couple people are thinking of using an air-air IC - not sure how that would run with the added in vacuum volume.

What psi would this be running if you ran it up to the 18,000rpm limit?

I am currently running about 6.8 PSI at about 17,400 (126mm crank pulley / 65mm SC nose pulley - assuming 9000 rpm). At this pressure I got these numbers. Not sure what the boost will look like with the larger pulleys since this may exceed the efficiency range of the SC.

I am going to try out a 135mm and 147mm pulley once the Arizona desert temps drop a bit. This will result in 18,750 (135 pulley) and 20,500 (147 pulley) - assuming again I push it to 9k. The 147mm pulley would result in 18,200 rpm on the SC on an AP2. I have talked to a number of guys that race cars with the MP62 SC that run it at 19-21k, mostly Miata track guys that run them both on the track and on the street. They tell me they change the oil charge every 6-10k miles and rebuild the SC every 30k (about $350-$400 is you send it to Magnusen - about $100 if you do it yourself).

I rarely go to 9k, so I am not to worried about spinning it up that far. However, I am thinking of picking up a spare MP62 so I have a spare.

Need more updates.

I'm coming home from Iraq in a few months and need to buy the kit before I get home so it can be waiting for me when I get there.

Hawaii actually, although I will be in Illinois near Saint Louis around Christmas.

I appreciate the offer, but the S is staying in hawaii.

If I buy the kit I am going to send it to Illinois first since I have no permanent residence in Hawaii.

Thanks again WLAURENT! I am sure I will have plenty of questions when I get my kit and am ready to install. Hope it comes out before December.

Just to get ahead of the game and start preparing for the future. Is the estimated price of the kit going to be around $5,500 i/c, and will it come with tuning? If not, what is your recommendation?

Sounds like the ULT is the choice software. Will the ULT be able to extract the full potential out of the setup?

Sorry for all the ?'s, I am getting excited.

Looks like I am going to go ahead and get the 550's.

I am guessing a clutch upgrade is just about a must with that torque.
