Of course. It's either sell it or keep spending money on it. I'm at a point in my life where spending a ton of money on a car isn't the smartest idea but if you always wait for the right time to do something, you may miss the opportunity completely.

Well I did try about a year ago...had one local guy interested...but I just could not do it. I have so much time, effort and money invested in this car...I think I will just keep it until one of my kids wants it or whatever. Selling is not an option.

I've thought about it, but then I ponder what else out there is better than a 450hp two seater convertible? Not much in my price range, I know that much!

Im in the same boat. My father was saying "youre almost 30 dont you think that you should get something a little nicer than a honda, say a mercedes or bmw?"

My answer, "Dad what can i possibly get around the 20-30k range that has 400hp and will have little to no payments and maintenance?"

He asked why i needed 400hp. Gave him the keys and let him go for a spin. No more crap was given. lol

Hell no. All the cars that I would sell my turbo s2000 for cost way more than $50,000 and I can't afford any of them.

This is my exact reason. Only cars I'd want over my s2k are a ZO6 or GTR (a Grand Sport at the very least), and I can't afford either. Even if I managed to get one used, I couldn't afford to modify them. The s2000 may be a Honda, but it holds up well against higer end cars for what it is in my opinion.

What's up turbo guys! I'm researching boosting (with a turbo) my s2k. I have a good idea of what I'm wanting to do but where I'm confused is with all these different turbo part numbers and what not.

So I know you can't help me unless you know my goal. I'm wanting to be in the 300-350whp range, as reliably as possible. The car is not my DD, but I still want to keep the risk of major engine problems to a minimum. I also want a turbo, so please don't recommend a supercharger. I want whatever set up I go with to have an open waste gate / open dump, whatever you prefer to call it. And finally, I will probably go with a quality log manifold for budget reasons and since I'm not shooting for high HP numbers.

With all that said, I'm open to t3, t4, vband, etc. I don't know the pros and cons, that's why I'm here.
I also don't know the pros and cons of the .63 .82 etc numbers that are always shown with the turbo listing.
I'm not looking to break the bank, but I don't want junk either, I'd be open to journal bearing or ball bearing.

So can someone recommend, or school me on a good turbo for my goals?

Thanks in advanced

Kings stage 1 kit with t3 flange and a Borg Warner turbo. The smaller the hotside the faster the spool but the more limited top end power.
