I think you anwsered you own question but you dont want to listen to yourself.

- Since you cut most of the support i wouldnt use it.

-the aftermarket would work.

There you go !!

My question is... will I be fine with my oem motor mounts or should I run aftermarket motor mounts (innovative, hasport)? The motor mount design of those companies would give me the clearance I need for the turbo. Buddy was saying there's a chance my motor mount bracket will break since I basically cut out the top portion of it.

Would much rather keep my OEM mounts if I'll be safe with the bracket the way it is.
Post a picture of what you cut. It's possible you weakened it but also, if it fails, it could cause your turbo to contact the mount of something. I'm having trouble picturing exactly what you did though.

I'll get the aftermarket mounts only if I really need it, but I'd read a few reviews about people saying how bad they vibrate and how loud they are.
I would advise against using the modified mount bracket. Cutting the section out will seriously decrease rigidity and strength of that piece.

You don't have a before-after picture of what you cut away do you?

I wouldn't use that mount bracket. I feel it could bend with that piece cut off. I'd get a new one and look into getting a smaller cover for your turbo.

Just a question on my graph, car doesn't seem to make any power past 7000rpm. Which doesn't seem normal to me for a f20c, any suggestions on what the issue could be.

F20c
9.1cr
Afi twin scroll manifold
Precision 6265 T4 .81ar
Unported head. 74mm throttle body
E95
33psi boost

The .81 AR exhaust housing could be choking the engine up top. Divided housing s2000's seem to perform better with larger housing. I'd try at least a 1.00. Smallest I've seen make good power on a divided T4 I think was Passman (s2ki member) using a large Borg turbo with a .91 or so.

I also thought that it could be the housing choking. The manifold is divided but the turbo is a normal open T4.
