i thought no cutting or drilling ?!
It's not a biggie...you need to cut two holes in the front for the water hoses that feed the heat exchanger. It's not hard and you're cutting plastic (behind the front bumper) so you could do it with an Exacto knife. I used the knife but a hole saw would make it quicker and more precise. Grommets are provided for the holes you cut.

Hey Chris, I had sent SOS an email asking about the compatibility of your SC kit with my 11.5:1 compression. I dunno who sent me the email back, but it said that 11.5:1 is the stock compression. I was under the assumption it was 11.1:1?? I have aftermarket JE 11.5:1 pistons. so I was just wanting to get that cleared up??
Thanks

That was my assumption. I figured it was for the inlet and outlet tubing from the heat exchanger to the auxlliary water pump - aftercooler.

So technically there is some cutting and drilling. I agree that its not a big deal and probably looks stock after you push in the gromets. I was just curious.

Yeah, you're right. If you have the hole cutter it would look even more stock...my cuts are not as perfect, but the grommets hide it really well.

I haven't seen any turbo/SC kit that used a front mount intercooler or aftercooler radiator that didn't require cutting some holes in the splash shields. It comes with the territory.

This part is shown as sent on your check list. Are you sure that you checked the packaging materials? The bag is fairly small. We will have another batch of these in stock tomorrow. Give us a call if you need help.

regards,
-- Chris
yeah the kit was missing this bag(sucks), I called sos and they shipped over the bag with the peices. I waited 4 days for it to come, while the car was in peices and i could drive it(wich sucked more).

One more thing, the kit didnt bring the (1) 1/2" ID pushlock(42") hose that was supposed to be in box 2. No biggie but still had to run to the auto store to get the hose

other than those two things above the kit was pretty easy to install. Im happy with it and waititng to get it on the dyno this week.

You should have the AFR curve on the last page of your instructions. I gave that to my dyno guy and we tweaked the fuel pressure to match it as closely as we could.
