I'm going to the Texas Tour in a couple weeks and it might be warmer there.

Temps for the dixie tour were around 65 on Sat and 60 on Sun. The tires never got hot and were only warm-ish.

I am also intrigued by how well the hankooks did
I borrowed some tire warmers for the Hankooks on my wife's car on Sunday, and they stayed semi-warm. Warmer than Saturday.

I am thinking they will work better when it gets warmer out.

yea my dunlops like a lil heat too. but they are great even at 85-90 degrees with a co-driver. but if toyos can handle the heat id love something that doesnt need heat, has a little more longitudinal grip and has a contingency for when i actually learn to drive.

My co-driver and I are also heading to TX for the tour. Need more seat time with our new setup

Anyone with decent talent want to drive BS CR in STR?

It hit 80 at our local event yesterday, so yeah I'd expect warmer temps. Jason M. has finally got a bunch of the parts installed on his MX-5 so maybe their will be some competition for you. Come by the Spokes Biergarten and I'll buy you a beer

I'm very slowly compiling parts for my car, but unless something catastrophic happens to the DP car I don't plan on running it at any National events til next year at the earliest.

Did you drive a 2000 or is that a typo? your info says you have a 2006 but the scca listing says MY 2000. Just curious

Correct but I'm thinking about putting it back on and upping the front bar. The car is just a little slow to transfer weight right now and I don't want to spring up.
