That's right you do. I cannot wait to hear it this weekend. I wonder if it sounds as glorious as my Invidia.

BTW, I just got my 2 sets of AP2v1 rears on my AP1 with my brand spankin new R1R's. I put spacers up front to work around the hubs (yup... I do have the longer studs installed too) . I'll drive it for the next couple of days to get that release compound off the tires before Sunday's test and tune. I'll probably do a few runs with these tires, but most of the time I will be burning up some old A6's. I know my wife is looking forward to seeing these tires go. LOL

J's+T1R 70mm V3, its LOUD, sounds better than the titanium IMO, Ti has no resonator, and you can tell it. I'd rather make same power, with a few more pounds and better sound. I have always passed db at our local meets too

This is so strange. I can't believe I have the same exhaust as some of you or I can't believe some of your relative impressions of loud. This thing is just mellow. I mean, I can't even hear it once the car is in VTEC. The K+N intake is louder than the exhaust.

WTF? Regardless, this topic sucks. I wish I never started the debate about loud exhausts.

In other news, I corner balanced the car today and it came in at 2670 without me in it. Here's what made it light:

Volk CE28s in 17x9
Recaro SPG with heavy Buddy Club rail
K+N intake
no rear sway
small battery
Ti exhaust

So it looks like there is an easy 35lbs to drop with a passenger seat, a header, a cat and a little less gas but past that, I don't know what you could do.

My Ti exhaust has a big resonator in location of the stock resonator.

Are you saying you would run with less than this? Have you ever had fuel starvation?

I have run with 1/2 tank or more to avoid fuel starvation consistently..

Just remember that the gauge readout isn't linear, so there isn't that much fuel left in the tank, plus you bring the starvation issue into play. Even if you run it down to 1/4 indicated and get away with it(I've found some cars that can and some that can't, regardless of AP1 or AP2), that may be only 2 gallons of fuel. I wouldn't expect much weight savings there. Still, if you can get it into the 2630's that was better than I expected, as it's almost 100lbs less than my car is in BS form.
