Paul Haney (The High Performance Tire) basically said you need to be a high profile race team to acquire the information on tires. I've never seen actual spring rates of any tires I run so I chose to ignore that aspect. If I can't see it, it isn't there, right?
I just made a wild ass guess of 1400lb/in. Really it’s not linear and doing non-linear frequency response calcs is above my commitment to amateur motorsports engineering.

If anyone really wants to nerd out, get some scales, decent measuring setup (calipers to the rim edge?), and a couple hundred lbs of sand. Let me know what the stiffness curve looks like

I'm ridin out on my Toyos. Jim Rayingga, I love your style. Natural frequency of the tires... that's hilarious.

See ya'll there. It's gonna be gnarly!

Speaking of Beers. Lets get a plan together to meet up prior to racing on Tuesday. I plan on being there some time Monday morning. We could just meet up during dinner. Maybe we should make up some name tags.

Dave just find me, I'll introduce you to everyone. I'll be the guy with the whiskey and black dog following me everywhere.

Is there an autox this weekend? Oh yeah, better not forget to catch that flight on Friday, just in time to miss practice starts!

And if it does rain, I'll feel really bad for anyone not on Toyos, really....

Here's an update from the last MidDiv at Lincold this past weekend.

I had a horrible start on Sat. I found out that my alignment was off (no thanks to Jensen Tire), corner ballance was off, ride heights were off and we had fuel starve for the first time. Took the car back to Omaha and spent 3 hours re-doing the alignment and corner ballance. Sunday was much better with the car handeling the best it has all season.

I've closed the gap on Nick J to about 1 second now (on 60 sec course), and considering the other mods he has done, I feel pretty good about that.

So, got back from the Meadowlands event today... Ghostshadow... Got me by 1.6ish seconds... (then Perry Aidelbaum beat him by 3 seconds in his own car... perry is a machine, and took 2nd PAX)

Dan, you car feels great... cant wait to get my big bar in... I'd be curious to see how your car with the 1000lb springs would do on a bumpier lot, It felt great on the perfectly smooth meadowlands lot though. Thanks for taking me for the ride!
