How do you install the endlinks into a Gendron FSB on a lowered car? I finally got my coilovers installed today and am about 3/4" lower than stock. It looks like I'd need a shorter endlink to use the 3 stiffest hole settings on the bar. The FSB arms can't rotate high enough to use the Gendron endlinks before the arms hit the tie rod boots.
What mounts are you using? If you are using the stock Honda mounts then you could put spacers between them and the frame to lower the bar. John Ward did this for his BSP car. He uses 5/8" spacers to stop the boot rubbing.

I also think that Gendron has new mounts that lower the bar and use metal bushings.

I thought about making some shims after seeing John's website a while ago, but got away with the stock mounts in BS. The new ball bearing Gendron mounts are $250 and I believe require some sanding work to get the bar installed - a bit more than I'd want to spend on an already expensive part. I just don't recall reading about others having fitment problems with the Gendron in STR.

Hmm, a search turned this up:
http://www.izzyscustomcages.com/CustomParts_1.html

That's almost 0.6", so just a tiny bit thinner than John's spacers.

14.7 ANTI-SWAY BARS
Substitution, addition, or removal of any anti-roll bar(s) is permitted.
Bushing material, method of attachment, and locating points are
unrestricted. Components such as anti-roll bars and strut housings that
serve dual purposes by also functioning as suspension locators may
not be modified in ways that change the suspension geometry or
steering geometry. Non-standard lateral members which connect
between the brackets for the bar, including allowed strut bars per
14.2.G, are permitted.
Yes.

Awesome! That gendron is starting to add up to some pretty serious chunk of change...the bar itself + ball bearing mounts + spacers. Oh well, gotta bite the bullet I guess.

I'd do it myself if I had access to capable tools. A small machine shop quoted me about $80 shipped. But Izzy's already has the part designed and possibly in stock (asking about this), so the lead time would be less. That'd be one less week I'd have to wait with my car still sitting in the garage. If someone would be willing to make me a set of these, properly sized and fitting, and get them to me within a week for much less than $80 shipped, let me know soon.

John Ward mentioned on his website that he'd make the spacers a little thicker than 5/8" if he had to do it again. But I'm not sure how thick they really need to be for STR ride heights. Izzy's said the ones he made were designed and used on a stock height S2000, so he has no information about fitment on a lowered S2000.

If you can find another place that will do it for considerably cheaper, let me/us know so that maybe we can get a group buy going. A lot of Gendron bar owners are gonna want/need this. I know I do.

You might not need the spacers with the ball bearing mounts.
