It's interesting to me that you went from the really low profile black to the really flashy nickel. I am curious how the nickel will look on the black though
just changing things up a bit. I liked the all black look but I ran around like that all year, now I'm going for a "classy" look, but with alittle JDM bling. I'm using red rays valve stems and red rays extended lug nuts on one side of the car and blue rays valve stems and blue rays extended lugs on the other side. Calipers will be painted from red to black. It should look good. I have clear side markers and I ordered usdm clear diffusers but they never shipped them so I canceled the order. I'm going to murderize my oem ones when I put on my new front bumper. (my is very messed up from driving up steep driveways.)

If I'm gonna get beat on all season by Marc and Dave/Mark I might as well look good while doing it.

I'll post pics in the 949 thread when I get everything on the car. (early march)

happy s2king!

Do any of you SoCal guys plan on making the trip up for the SFR Divisional? It's only 2 weeks away and so far I'm by myself in STR.

How many of you have to re-adjust your suspension for some ill-handling trait at each venue? This entails temperature changes, surface changes, or course styles. Have any of you found a sweet spot that works really well under virtually all conditions, needing only a click one way or another on an otherwise good setup? I'm not asking for exact setups, mind you, but general stability in your setup.

Tune for grip, and grip always is different.

I'm not talking about minor tweaks necessitated by going from a small lot to a large lot, or sealed asphalt to concrete. I'm talking about "the car was working great last weekend and now it is doing everything wrong".

Let me rephrase the question:
How many experience uneven levels of grip change as temperate, surface, or courses change?

My car usually only needs minor tire pressure changes from one venue/surface/temp to another. Every once in a while I need to slightly tweek my front shocks

This is the first time I'm hearing of it. But now I'm trying to save my tires so I don't go to the local Tour and ProSolo in April with much over 80 runs on my tires.

It really depends... I've had neutral handling leaning towards under steer on one weekend become total over steer the next. I changed nothing on the set up and weather/temp was basically the same. It was only the surface changing.

Yeah, I figured it was a long shot seeing that it was so close and not at the best of lots. There really isn't a lot of good places up north for events since we lost Atwater a couple years ago.

I'm probably going to head to Dixie with 150+ runs on my Kumhos.
I'm doing at least 4 events between now and then...

Oh well.
