Pretty, pretty, pretty good.
Whack job.
Hahahaha I know its a dumb question. The valving that I ended up with on my 8041's for my civic were a lot better than the spss for racing and the ride home. Just trying to get some opinions on the shock performance of the shock for the s2000 and if I'm going to have to constantly revalve to find a good balance like I did for.the civic. If not than is rather jump straight to a 30 series or some other Monotube double adjustable shock.

You will be much happier going to a monotube.

Man, I love Moton but those Ohlins seems pretty neat. I'm gonna have to steal a practice run in Blytheville if Marc will let me.

My only question about the Ohlins are how skinny the shock shaft is which translates into less fluid displacement when hitting a bump. One would think they arnt as "sensitive" as the large piston moton/jrz shocks.

Although these things weight like 2lbs each without top hats and springs. It was crazy feeling how light they are compared to my huge piston jrz with remote reservoirs.

Josh, they don't work like a typical monotube does where compression is controlled off of fluid displacement. Instead of having a piston on the shaft it's a plunger that just pushes fluid through the compression port or through the rebound port so there's more available fluid to control.

I would appreciate your input on the setup, but it looks like I will be in FL during this event. During this time, the car will have some needed setup changes to stabilize the rear and hopefully be ready by the Nashville event.

Awe... that's a bummer.

Yeah, Leach, the Koni's felt pretty good and nothing at all as bad as they felt in the STS cars.

I have OTS Konis with 700F / 550R rates and the ride is fine for daily driving and 300+ miles drives to events on Hankooks. It was pretty brutal on the Dunlops though.
