I actually ran this type of exhaust on my st rsx with no issue. Welds were great. Thing is im just looking at weight savings mainly. If it only last a year then im out the 137 shipped haha. I can go about 5 years on ebay exhaust before i get into the price of a name brand single. Plus i live in nola. Our streets will beat up an amuse or spoon exhaust with equal malice as it would an ebay one haha. I already ordered it. Its supposed to be here weds. If i get a chance ill put it on a scale.

So I just mounted my set of 6ulr's this morning. Before I had work cr-kais (cast) 18x8.5: Heavy. Anyway, now compliance bushing is squeaking a whole lot faster and more often. Is that because the 6ulr's are that much lighter? I have mugen to replace those with and a full powerflex set for the rest, so hopefully I wont hear it much longer. Just curious.

Another question too. The previous owner flipped two of the vs3's because of inner wear. In my experience this is never a good idea because of belt seperation. However i figured id ask if anyone else has done this and had any issue. I can easily dismount and remount them but if i dont have to that would be good too.

Not a problem as long as you keep the same direction of rotation.Just look at the arrow on the sidewall.

If your concerned then swap the wheels side to side. There's really no concern with belt separation but you have lost the ability to evacuate water with them rotating in reverse direction.

Yah im just gonna roll with them for now. I got 2 extra with the wheels so I will wear out the rears (probably fast) then replace. Its all good.

My budget build is flying along. I got the ebay single today. The box says 12kilo gross, 10 net, and that feels exactly right. I can easily lift the whole box with one arm without straining, and I am a weak fat dude. Ordered the 32mm front bar today. Switching my tein flex springs front to rear so they will be 671 front, 520 rear. Can't wait to put this whole setup to the test. STR on a budget....

I put the Motons on 2 weekends ago; bought them used with 800lb springs all around. I ordered 850f/700r Hyperco springs and got those in this week and will install them this weekend. I also have to cut holes in the rear of the car to feed the canisters into the trunk rather than strapped to the top rear a-arm. Can't wait to try these out at an autox but my Star Specs need replacing already after 7 months. That's what I get for driving much better this season.

I also had to order a different header than what's on my car. My current First Racing F1 header sits a good 2 inches below the under-plane of the car and after lowering it on Motons the bottom of the header sits about 2" off of the ground. Had to order something else that sits flush like how the stock one was.

Just put on the ebay single. Easy install. Its light. Prob between 15=20 lbs. Not bad for price. Totally blown away by sound. Its actually really deep and throaty. I was expecting loud and raspy. Its really not nearly as bad as i thought. Only really bad part is how low it hangs. Its got about 4" ground clearance. Its about an inch or two lower than the cross brace (behind the brace toward the rear).

I have a question as I am on the fence. they were out of 255 kooks last time I orderd tires so I got 245's. They don't seem to be significantly if any slower but I have no empirical data (they transition better but are not as grippy in sweepers based on feel). IF this is still the case next time would those of you who have tried them all recommend going to the Dunlops or going with another set of 245 kooks. Its been a while since Ive used the dunlops and I know that at least in the heat of the south that I was faster on the 255 kooks than the dunlops. Any recommendations?
