So, anyone who tried the 245 Kooks have any feedback yet on how they compare to the 255's?

Are you running a lot of rebound in the front? The only time I have gotten the fender to rub on the inside (reference photo) was on a bumpy lot with too much rebound. The high rebound jacks the suspension down when in steady state turns going over bumps. BTW I am running the front at 12.25" hub center to metal fender edge with 850 lb springs and ~900 lb/in FSB (Comptech on full stiff). Camber is about -2.7. Rear ride height is 12.5" with about -2.5 camber and MX-5 sway bar (~125 lb/in).
How much caster do you have?

I do think I had too much rebound. I have the standard SRP rebound valving. See link here for a dyno plot (note my compression is totally different than that). I was running around the middle setting or slightly higher, with 800 lb springs and my gendron bar with ball bearing mounts set to 3 out of 6.

Thanks for the input.
I really don't know how much caster, but I would guess around 5-6 deg.

I'm still up in the air about the 245 Hankooks. I am able to run less static camber to obtain decent temperature profiles around a road course, though I haven't taken temps at an auto-x event. I'm currently running -2.8 front, -2.5 rear camber and the pressures are 38psi front, 37psi rear.

On a local road course, I was able to best my previous record lap time by a couple of tenths. Some of this can be attributed to improved lines and braking points, as determined by sector time comparisons using previous logs. The ultimate grip was slightly lower than logs that I have from 255/40/17 Hankooks, but it's similar.

Overall, I don't think there is a discernible difference between the 245 and 255 Hankooks.

We were on the 245 tires for the El Toro ProSolo, and I was gonna write a synopsis/recap of the event, but got kinda lazy and was wondering if people would bother reading it. I guess if there is enuf interest I could put something up, but the times were there to win the ProSolo except for a couple of those orange things...

I would be really curious to hear your thoughts on the 245's.

I know I need the 7.65 long blade.
Was over there the other day. They don't know the spring rate of the blade itself, and manufacturer didn't refernce it. Granted I didn't have him persue it too much.

Ok, I'm trying to put a El Toro recap together, but am having a lil trouble editing the vids and uploading them so I'll need a lil bit of time. Thanks.

Anyone have any AP2 rear wheels sitting around they want to get rid of? Preferably V3 08-09 wheels. Thanks!
