I'd imagine there's much less back pressure with no mufflers back there. Or am I completely off here.
AP1s, especially the early ones, run fairly rich. I can't speak for AP2s, however.

I agree, even with intake, header HFC and both this setup and my current 70mm Greddy TiC, I still run rich enough to get soot on my bumper.

The 06+ cars are known to run pretty lean. Mine started to lean out with just a HFC and cat-back.

I have a toda header, 70mm hfc, and a t1r 70r exhaust with a k&n

My car is still very rich and is going to see nice gains from the 2012 ecu rule change.

Btw this dyno was before the apexi neo. My cross over is at 5k now. I saw a dyno of a ap1 with bolt ons tuned on a haltech ps1000 and it gained 28whp! Can anyone say 2600lbs with 230-240whp?

Can someone link me to the proposed ap1 ECU rule? Time to start planning.

28 in the middle, where you need it, not at the top where you dont.

Shhh... Don't tell our secret! It's been a while since I say that graph it might of been in the mid-range but like you said that's where we need it. I'll have to look around and try to find it again. The proposal got linked somewhere in the racing forum. I saw it 2 days ago.

I tell people I don't give a crap about peak HP... All I care about is TQ gain down low to mid. Then, I get this deer in the headlights look of confusion.

So 21 ft/lb of tq would make you happy Dave? Yup you might get your dream come true... Just gotta fork out the money for the tuner and they could prolly etune the car.

Let's hope evans come through.
