I'm at 850/650 and don't soften things up for the street, just make sure to slow down over railroad tracks or rough pavement, no issues. Feel's great on the street actually.
As others have said, soften the rear rebound and that should settle down the rear.

On a side note for those of you that daily drive with Motons what are your comfort settings for your shocks? Right now it seems pretty good with compression full soft and rebound 3 clicks all around.
Moton Clubsports with compression set to 3F/3R, rebound set to 4F/4R (all from memory). I don't adjust compression or rebound getting on and off the track, but I can say adjusting compression fom 4F/4R to 3F/3R made a big difference in comfort.

How many levels of adjustment are there on the club sports? Is it 7 or 12?
Anyone read the grassroots motorsports this month about the 245s on the miata. They claimed 1/2 faster then 255s. They also said wheel wieght didnt make a time difference but made a feel difference.
^I've seen that quite a bit with different cars/setups.
A bunch of the track guys that do hpde/time attack said when 949racing wheels came out with the 17x10 the guys that switched from running 17x9s said everything about going to the wider rim/stretching the tire a little made the car faster.

Depends on how new they are. Mine are the newer ones with the orange bodies and canisters and they I think have 16 clicks rebound and compression.
Frankly, I have no idea... and I'm not going to pretend that I do. However, I'm sure that weight removed anywhere has to make SOME difference. For example, when I have a passenger in my car, even a light weight female passenger, I notice big differences in braking distances and how soon I hit the rev-limiter in certain areas of the course. That's just increasing the weight of the car 90-125lbs.
If 100lbs / 50lbs / 20lbs / didn't matter... then I've spent way too much money on things like a Brail Battery, a different passenger seat, etc.
