Does anyone have experience with Wedge Engineering or Speedware Motorsports seat brackets? Being able to alter seating now is a godsend in this car.

used the wedge engineering / sparco brackets in my last car. nothing special. they fit. probably go for F1 spec for the s2000. they are cheap and there is nothing revolutionary about a seat bracket.

Um, wut?

Have you ever watched a little (narrow) Miata and a massive Dodge Viper try to get through the same super tight spot or a cramped slalom on an autocross course? You might change your mind about wider always being better....
Nevermind what you do to the scrub radius/ackerman, but something tells me stuff like that is lost on Mr. "Wider is Better"

I was looking at it from a pure handling performance standpoint on the track not specifically tight autocross courses. It all translates until your talking about threading a needle so in that case I agree. I'll bow out now

It doesn't have to be a tight course. Any time you have something that looks roughly like a slalom, the narrower car doesn't have to turn as much. That translates to higher slalom speeds.

That's what I was going to say, but I get the sense that is largely lost on most folks here. Hell, more than half the posts in this thread aren't even about STR.

oh well.

Dude, did you not realize the title of this thread? It's talking about a very specific class for a very specific purpose.

s2000Junky attracted much ridicule in his home forum (Pacific Northwest) for insisting in the face of all arguments to the contrary that you only need to bleed one caliper when you bleed your brakes.

So, rather than argue with him, just do as I did and just ignore him.

No It didn't really occur to me until to be honest, I haven't been reading though the last 7 pages, just the OP first about rpf fitment and some suspension set up which I know a bit about. When I realized I wasn't going to add anything else as far as Autocross goes specific I decided to bow out.
