Definitive S2000 CR Thread
Not too shabby if ya ask me. If nothing has been done to the car performance-wise though, it'll be pretty hard to sell over our one and only "base" model.
I'm ready for my stroked 2.5L InlinePro motor.

hahaha. As I read through the post I feels the hate and was filled with HATe. Now it all calm down and it seems OK
to me.
I think with time the car will start to sink in.
Like when the first time the 8th gen Civic came out, man I thought it just the most ugly looking car that look a little better than teh Saturn car. hahaha
Well Now, I only looking forward is to see the car in action, If that car can BEAT some car that "we" (current S2k) couldn't not beat before then I'll be happy to see it. 2-second in lap? hopefully it under rated so it easy to get 2 second off the track. hahha

w/o a roll bar / cage it still doesn't fit the Club Racer profile. It truely is a Club Ricer. Here on the East Coast the addition of an OEM hardtop might get you onto 1 more track. Most organization want a cage / rollbar.
Club Racer just doesn't fit.

Dezoris, I'm not sure why your so hell-bent on correlating this car with what "appears" to be the trend of S2000 owners here on S2ki. Last I checked, it's roughly 74-3 on the petition over in the Tell Honda section. Clearly, this car is not representative of "what we're doing". It's an empty suit's interpretation of what Joe Public wants. If you're trying to make some bigger statement about S2000 owners choosing fluff over substance, I don't really think we're any different than the rest of the auto tuning community. We just don't see the same results. Sure, I'm not making much, if any more power than I was when I was stock but I'm also not interested in spending five thousand plus dollars to see any gains.
