I have used techron on my honda civic for the last 7 years, and have yet to really see any problems. I got my civic new in 1998, and started putting this stuff in every oil change about every 3-4months when I began working in a garage at 60k miles on the civic. I still get pretty damn good gas mileage, 28 city, about 32 highway. I worked at a penske garage thru college, and a tech I trust alot with cars said its the only way to go, and safe. just my 2 cents. I have not had really any problems with fule system or engine either. had oil pan gasket and rear main seal changed and distributor cap seal replaced cuz of oil leak, but that could be due to age of the car and wear and tear. those were done around 105k. She has about 136k on her now.
