I have to say that if I were to venture on to paying five grand for a SC that I would do it knowing that if something broke, I'd pay for it. Of course that doesn't mean I'd would avoid going through battles between Honda and Comptech beforehand, but I would also understand the risks involved out there. For those of you who want speed out there, I'll say a SC is a quick and easy bolt on setup. (quick in relative terms) But I'd also suggest that drivers out there who have not driven a supercharged car do so. Personally I've only driven two aftermarketed bolt on supercharged cars - both not my own: 97 Miata and a 90 Mustang. They are a bit different to drive than the normal naturally aspirated cars because they will wind much much quicker. Of course, its not like a turbo where things need to warm up to a great extent nor do they need to cool down before turning off the car.

I suggest that anyone out there who's never modded a car like this know that the risk is in their own hands since they are the ones driving it. You can drive agressively, and you can drive it hard, but you can also realize the limits of the car.

FYI - I'll pick one up in about a year most likely.
