i got a 2002 yellow with 62k miles
and it was 9k at dealer with 36 month 36k mile warrenty

 

Sounds pretty good if the car is extra clean. I bought an 06 a year ago, extra clean, certified with 32K miles for $22,250, included Honda 100,000 mile power train warranty.
As far as accessories, wheel locks, seat locks, that's it, my S is "Bone Stock" will keep it that way until warranty expires.

 

Just finished looking at a 08 s2k with 16k miles... So far we are down to $21,500 for the price..good price??


The car felt nice driving and didn't notice any big issues...
I did notice a clunk noise when going into first gear from a dead stop, is this normal?
I also found the seats to be slightly "dried" ... Is this common??
Anything else I should check?

 

great price imo. Clunk is normal all s2ks are like that. I say go for it. Awesome deal for 08

 

i would go with a ap1.... so much cheaper. but get a 02 or higher cause heated
windows help a lot.

and its like 1/2 the price

$21,500 sounds like a great deal on an 08' with 16,000. Take the clutch fluid cap off and insopect the condition of the clutch fluid.If it hasn't been changed since new it's overdue. If you can't clearly see the bottom of the clutch fluid reservoir with the cap removed....it's dirty and needs changing.

 

the clunk is normal. to avoid the clunk, shift into 4th before going into first.

 

to much, its winter time. 17/18k sounds more like it
