-Official- Is this car worth it thread
For Reference:
I sold my 2002 Spa Yellow AP1 ~70k miles for $7k
Bad:
Top slashed (had replacement top and motor)
Not running because I never put the pieces back on after I removed the supercharger
Rear fenders buckled
Front fenders rolled poorly
Secondary O2 sensor dead (included a brand new one)
Needed spark plugs replaced
Highest compression: 240, lowest compression: 220
All stock, except for the fuel pump.
Nothing wrong with it, just didn't have the time to put it all back together. And yes it coulda been an easy flip.

Long story short. I love the s2k. I found a 03 S2K w/ 124k miles on it. With J's catback , injen CAI, and tien spring for $10,000 The interior and exterior looks clean. Its a clean title car. Recently trans, diff, and oil has been changed. Along with a valve "re-adjustment" (whatever it means)
And I'm looking for input if this is a good buy. I tend to daily the car for at-least one year before I can save up and get a beater. Will there be any major mechanical or electrical problems that might arise soon?
I know Honda's are suppose to last forever. Does this apply to the AP1 S2K?

2001 S2000 Black/Black. Just under 40K. Asking 11k. The car is overall in pretty good shape with all the VIN tags accounted for. Several dings. Lower side of front bumper scraped up. Top is pretty good, rear window is quite opaque. Volume control on left side of steering wheel is broke.
Is this a good deal?
I would not be happy with the car unless the rear window was fixed....does this require a whole new top, or can the window be replaced without replacing the whole top?

So I just looked at a 2007 S2000 with 30,450 miles, in Laguna Blue. They were asking 23,335 but I have them at 21,200 right now. I left and came home to research some. The car is pristine, drives excellent, paint is perfect. No defects what so ever. I trying to determine what a good price is for this car, so I can justify it to the wife. Sorry if I put this in the wrong forum. This is my first S2K if I get it. Thanks guys.
