Considering its a 2007 LBP with 30,000 miles and from a dealership, $21,200 is honestly a very fair price. If I were in the market for that particular vehicle that would be a pretty fair price, it would hurt to get them down a little more but you're definitely in the right range. Look at the for sale forums to get an understanding of the current prices for similar vehicles.

If you could I would wait till the end of December. After Xmas people need moneys and cold weather not helping any convertable sale either. It's like shopping for summer clothing in winter time. Good luck with your first S2K.

Dealerships don't usually keep used cars around that long, that's essentially two months.

I'd jump on it, sounds like a good deal.

How are the tires? Are they the originals? Even though it sounds like a solid car, lament about all the things you'd have to fix, replace, etc. They'd do the same thing to you to justify a low trade in offer if you were to trade something in. You could even invent things if you want to go down that road (clutch feels soft, tranny shifts hard, I heard squeaks on the test drive) whatever you're comfortable with! Fight fire with fire!

When I was shopping, I found that the 'winter discount' can be offset in December by the 'holiday gift boost' until the holidays are over for at least three weeks or a little more. The two best used convertible seasons are likely as it gets cold but not yet 'holiday vehicle gift' time, and well after the holidays but before 'spring fever' starts - anytime that sales of convertibles are generally slowing.

Very fair price. I would jump on it, especially if it is completely stock (I assume what you mean by pristine).
