If the 2003 has been hit in the front and rear I would expect that it also has or had a lot of door dings as well since it was clearly street parked and also probably has paint, trim, top UV damage from being parked outside so much.

Tires: you can get decent tires for around $120 - $160 each.

Brakes: If you do them yourself it can be as cheap as $70 for a set of OEM front pads and $30 to resurface both front rotors, most likely the rear brakes are OK at <80K miles if they cars were driven like a normal car.

Clutch: A clutch job can mean BIG money if you can't do it yourself, $800+ for a shop to do it is about the going rate these days, possibly as high as $1100 and that's USD figures.
I believe it still has the plastic rear window. The plastic windows dont have a rear defrost then eh?
Correct about the dings, but its more so scratches then dings around the car, not to noticeable unless u look up close.
However the Top is actually in good condition, not faded at all?
as for brakes, that i can easily do my self so not to big of a deal except the clutch which i just got a quote for 1000 for everything said n done.

I was leaning towards the '03, however all the cosmetics the rear bumper not aligned properly, the few scratches around the car and the prior front end damage.
Apparently he was driving when it snowed and he clipped i believe was either a stop sign or just a traffic sign and thats what caused the front end to need replacing

I also kept in the mind the center leather console a pose to the carpet and also the rear glass window which is alot better then the 00

Im usually an impulse buyer but this time i wanna see which is actually the better buy

Thanks !!

Personally, I wouldn't go for either. I think you can do better if you search around a little more.

Also, definitely go with the glass rear window unless you plan to rip the soft top out.

Very important question: Will this be a daily driver?

If this car will not be a daily driver than the back window may not be a big deal. My 2000 has always been a 2nd car and I never have the top up unless I park it somewhere questionable.

Looking at a 2007 silver Certified pre owned 16k miles near mint at about 23.5k. Is it worth it? Thanks.
