I vote neither. Get an AP1, those are too expensive

Really though, get the 2006 if you have to choose between the two.

Black 09 is private party one owner. Red 06 is dealer one owner. I have landed on the black one. 2009 cars are very rare, with less than 800 brought to the US. Also, for the suspension changes, see:

Thanks to everyone for their input!

Get the NFR. Extra cash is always good, and red looks great. The mileage is close so it should be a huge issue in terms of wear and tear.

I bought my fist MY00 s2k with a clean title a brand new top for 6500 with 122k, the car was extremely clean. then I bought my second one which is a bit more on the rare side for 10k it had 99k on it.

so I would say 10K is a great price if its clean and well maintained.

I just got my 02 with 67k miles for 10.4k. The paint and body are in great condition but the soft top has tears in it. It has had 2 previous owner and for the first 6 years(first owner) it was a garaged car only driven on weekends. In total it ending up costing more because I traveled 1000 miles to get it.

Congrats on the 2009 BB. You can have no regrets knowing you own about as close to brand new as you can find in this car. I just bounced my 2009 NFR off the rev limiter in 3rd gear tonight driving her a bit over aggressive. I was a little concerned that I damaged something, but truthfully after experiencing a Billman ride, I'm not really worried about it. And damn it was fun!

I'm a black on black kind of guy, but the NFR is to die for! I thought I wanted black when I was searching for my Honda, but I realized how it doesn't make me go "WOW" like I thought it would. It hides too much of the body line.
