Id look into why it's only be owned for 1 year (although i have sold cars this fast for no particular reason)... Id also make sure basic maint has been done for a 75k mile car.. MY05 is a nice perk for $15.5... You can get less miles on an AP1 for the same price or less.

Yeah, you can pick up an 02 or 03 with 35k-40k miles for that much. Maybe even for only 14k. As for the car you're looking at, yeah just check everything out. Take it to a mechanic for a 100 point inspection just for piece of mind if you want. Also check out the top from the outside AND inside.

14.0k is most that I'd pay for that.

Yeah, I was going to offer 14k for it. I found another one that needs an engine, it's only 5k, and the rest of the car appears to be in good condition. It sounds like the guy ran it out of oil (AP1). He said mechanic told him it spun a rod bearing. I've found some engines for ~4k online, they're used engines. If I could get him down to 4k on the car, this sounds like it might be worth it, but then again, who knows what else is wrong with the car. But I do have a full service shop to do the repairs in.

Oh, and the guy said he doesn't 'need' to sell the car, he said he's changing interests...I guess he's not so 'into cars' anymore, or cannot feasibly be 'into cars' or something like that. My main thing here is that it appears to be very clean and kept up very well, as well as it being completely stock.

If you'd like to take a look:

I just bought Ap1 2000 year model today. This one has 32357 original miles on it, Clean one owner CARFAX. I have checked the body of the car, all original paint. No mods, only a few minor scratch on the hood. Black color, Red Interior.

I bought from a toyota dealer located at Dallas area. Sales price is 16300, plus fees.
I wonder Is this a good deal, or I paid to much for this car?

Why do you ask? Second thoughts? You picked up a nice car in good condition, now keep it that way and love it!

I have read some topics on this forum, it seems like the first thing I need to do is to check the retainer, or I can wait a little bit longer because I am sure I won't over-rev it.

just depends on location and market, i paid 14k for my 2000 model year with 20k miles. Car would have gone for more in other areas.
