14K will buy a mint AP1 without any stories attached. If you are here asking about buying a salvage title, just think of what it's going to be like for you when you decide to sell the car. Salvage title cars have such a limited market.

what seems shady? The dealership provided before and after pix of the car. They weren't pushy at all. They even recommended i take it to shop of my choice and have it checked out. and the spot wlding around the suspension is OEM btw. Focus on the corners. when i checked it out i went under the car and there only signs of towing on the lower arms but nothing was twisted or hit. Carfax only shows that accident as well.

$14,000 is a lot of money for a car that is going to be extremely difficult to sell in the future. If it were $9-10k it might be a different story. People are getting low-mileage, clear title cars for $14k, just not necessarily an 07.

You have an 18k limit... You can find a much better s2k for that price if you look hard enough.

it's rear ended. so you need to let a body shop to remove all the trunk mats, and you will see what it looks like.

i really doubt you know how to check the body fitment yourself. you think it's great? better bring a professional bodyshop guy there and he will tell you something.

good question. where are pictures for rear end damage?

why don't you spend a few thousands more for a mint ap2 without any story.

okay, it had front end collision, and you really consider buying it?

this part is also suspicious. why is some paint there?

if its an older car and salvaged I would buy it, if its newer run like hell.

the newer cars are worth more, and allowed more $$$$ in damage to be considered salvaged. an older car that had a simple fender bender and maybe went over a curb after and took out a chunk of the two wheels will be salvaged and have no issues aside from a fresh paint job and new panels

that one looks like it was on a frame machine for sure and had to be pulled out, welded back together, and painted. unless you know the shop that did it was AMAZING and known for their "frame" work I would stay away at that price.
