There is a 2004 Berlina Black with 59,xxx miles for $16,500. It is fully documented,clean title, and is in pristine condition. What do yall think I should offer once the car passes PPI?

 

My buddy is thinking about straight trading an RSX Type S for this s2k... what do you guys think?

2002 RSX Type S:
-Clean title
-Swapped 2005 motor with about 75k on it
-Chassis has about 190k
-New stage 2 clutch w/ 8lb aluminum FW
-lowered on D2 coils
-has a CAI
-DC race headers
-Greddy evo 2 exhaust

-has all the paperwork of the motor swap

Hell no. The guy doesn't even say what year it is. I wouldn't even think about it unless I had the invoice from the repair shop that fixed it after it was hit, and the original estimate of repairs from the insurance company. Then, I would make the seller make sure it passes smog. Then, I still probably wouldn't do it.

 

Just found out its a MY00. Soft top is super torn, pass fender is ruined from the previous tire, and no paperwork of the damage.

Well, with my nice little tax refund I am able to begin searching for a car sooner than expected. I found an 05 with 74000 miles on it for 15500 that I'm going to look at on Thursday. It is completely stock and has been owned by the person for a year. I have looked at the forum post about looking at used cars, any thoughts otherwise?
